Al-Hakim
الحكيم
Name of Allah
The All-Wise — whose every decree and act is perfectly wise; the name with which Allah introduced Himself to Musa.
Overview
Al-Hakim — the All-Wise — describes Allah as the One whose knowledge, decrees and actions are perfectly placed. It is most often paired with Al-'Aziz (the Exalted in Might) or Al-'Alim (the Knowing).
It is one of the names with which Allah introduced Himself to Musa at the fire: "O Musa, indeed it is I — Allah, the Exalted in Might, the Wise" (27:9). Ibrahim and Ismail closed their prayer at the House with the same pairing (2:129).
